ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF MINDLESS WOKE THINKING

 

 

                            

       At first glance, upon reading the above poster, some may ask, “What’s wrong with that?”  To answer that question, it would take a book.  However, for the sake of brevity, I will endeavor to at least present a brief overview.  Like most Woke ACTIVISM, they insist that everyone must believe, think, and speak in agreement and compliance with then.  With them, there is no such thing as free speech, but only compelled speech. The intent is first to tell people “what” to think, instead of using critical thinking and analysis to learn “HOW” to think.         

      First of all, as usual, they, the radical progressives, expect the reader to be ignorant of the difference between compassion and false sympathy.  False sympathy is that which says there is no benefit in our traditional beliefs and values.  All behavior and lifestyles must be accepted and equally valued so that each person may feel comfortable in their lifestyle, regardless of how it may go against traditional thought and values. 

       They leave key words out, thinking that you will never notice it. Let us consider another possible perception of each of the given statements.

VOTE AS IF YOUR LOVED ONE IS AN IMMIGRANT

       WOKE activists will often leave key words out to make their lie appear to be true.  Just like Satan, deception is the poison used.  Americans are NOT against immigrants. The problem is the invasion of ILLEGAL immigration, which overwhelms our welfare system, health care system, and education system, just to name a few problems that lead eventually to the ruin of any nation or culture.  Not only that, why is it that these woke people try to ignore that America has a very compassionate and generous LEGAL immigration system that is being undermined by the open borders “false sympathy”. Supporting of the CRIMINAL behavior is like entering our country by breaking the law.   What is their mindset, and willingness to break other laws within our country?  Those who ignore the difference between legal and illegal immigration are either naive or purposely and knowingly aiding and abetting criminal behavior which is a threat to the safety and security of every citizen of our nation.  Where there is lack of safety, there is an ever increasing state of chaos and less freedom and liberty. These are only a few of the problems that are ignored in the first statement of this post.  Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
     
VOTE AS IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS A SEXUAL ASSAULT SURVIVOR

    Boy is that loaded with the poison of “false sympathy”, falling far, far short of true compassion.  It ignores the problems stemming from drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and sexual abuse predators who are allowed to enter our country to prey on more of our daughters, because the people flooding over our boarders are NOT completely vetted.  Are you going to be deceived by false sympathy for all the illegal immigrants that are invading our country?  Are you going to be tricked into believing that all of them are good people just looking for a chance to make a better living for them and their families? Instead of being WOKE, WAKE UP to reality. True compassion for your daughter, or anyone else, would demand that all immigrants should be carefully and completely vetted; otherwise, we are being complicit in setting up more of our own daughters for sexual assault and worse.  Think people, think!  Oh, I forgot, that’s the last thing these “woke” people want you to do.  We have enough criminals in our own country.  Do we really want to take in criminals and terrorists from other countries?  I’m not saying all illegals are criminals.  What I am saying is that our legal immigration system is there for the purpose of making sure that persons have met certain criteria and qualifications before they are permitted to enter or country.  A country that does not enforce those laws will not be a sovereign nation much longer.  Safety and security for its citizenry will become less and less.

VOTE AS IF YOUR CHILD IS UNSAFE IN SCHOOL

    Oh, I totally agree with that, but not for the reasons they would assert.  I’m assuming that they are referring to gun violence, for one thing.  They are trapped in their own box of tunnel vision, seeing the gun as the problem, instead of focusing on the personal responsibility of the person holding the gun.  They also want us to focus of the gun, instead of finding solutions for helping the mentally ill and acting to prevent violent behavior when red flags had been dropped everywhere, previous to the ultimate violent behavior.  Making our schools a gun free zone sets them up as an easy and soft target for every crazy whack-o out there.  Having “the good guy” on the grounds, trained with the gun to protect kids and adults, could provide immediate possible help right there on the grounds, and just might act as a partial deterrent, giving cause for the criminal mind to think twice before attacking in that area.  Think not?  Why do you THINK celebrities, politicians, etc. hire their own private armed security agents?  Oh, once again, there’s that word “think” that they don’t want you to do.  That’s only part of unsafe school environment.

       A book could be written, oh wait, books have been written, about the awful things that are now being taught to our youngest of children.  Things that are so awful that, when a parent attempted to read a small portion of a book being taught to kids, the school board muted the parent’s mic, on the grounds that the language was too explicit to be read aloud.  Can you believe that?  They thought it was inappropriate for adults to hear it, but it was fine to use to teach little kids.  Believe me, I didn’t just hear it, I saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears.  This is only the tip of the iceberg. Like I said, books have been written, and our children are loosing their innocence because of our schools.


VOTE AS IF YOU COULDN’T AFFORD HOUSING   

     I don’t pretend to be knowledgeable about the economics of real estate.  Let me take a moment to make a stab at it, even in my uneducated state.  What about supply and demand as just one part of the puzzle.  If you flood an area with low income, or no income persons, just what effect do you think that may have on the housing prices, and even the availability of housing in the area?  I can think of one possibility.  Do you think home builders are going to be inspired to invest in building in an area where there are few that may be able to pay enough for them to make any profit?  Yeah, it’s a vicious circle.  Oh, you think Govt. Housing is the answer?  Just look at what generally happens in the “project” areas.  When people have little stake in the game, they tend not to take much interest in investing their time an effort in the upkeep of it.  Even those who do are thwarted and undermined on every side by those who could care less.  Can you imagine being trapped in such a situation?  Maybe, just maybe, making sure that immigrants entering your country do have definite means for supporting themselves might help prevent, or at least alleviate some of the negative effects on the problem of affordable housing.  The taxes and cost of your house may raise more and more so the Govt. can build more of the “affordable housing” projects for those who have no or low skills to earn a living.  Such housing projects are often at least partially subsidized by our tax dollars.  Nobody wins. It’s a lose/lose situation for all. 

       There are valid reasons for having laws that protect LEGAL immigration.  If those laws are not enforced, there will always be negative consequences for both the immigrants and citizens.  Very soon, there may be little or no advantage to being a citizen.  Just look at what’s happening already.  In some cases, illegal immigrants are offered “free” benefits, while the citizens have to pay for that same benefit.  Actually, the citizen has to pay twice - once for themselves and additional funds to cover the cost of the person that is receiving the service, or benefit for “free.” Americans are a generous people, but there’s got to be a balance, or soon there may be no nation and no one willing to fight for keeping that nation free, safe, or sovereign.


    VOTE AS IF YOU’RE SKIN IS NOT WHITE

    Putting it as nicely as I can, that’s nothing but pure POOP.  It is reverse racism, similar to the way of thinking that fostered the development and rise of the Klu Klux Klan.  It is the same Marxist tactic that was used to divide and pit people against one another.  Previously, class was used. They know that won’t work in America, so now they use race to divide and pit us against one another.  If allowed to continue, they will succeed in destroying America, for we will no longer remember the blessings of being “one nation under God”, but will decay into tribes or worse yet, be under the control of a dictator. 

        For one thing, this whole race thing is a lie of the devil, and is the biggest insult to people of color that has ever existed.  First of all, there is only ONE race, the HUMAN RACE! These “WOKE” people would have you forget our true history, of not being a perfect country, but of being a country in perseverance of becoming more perfected.  They would have you believe, because we once had the practice of slavery, that nothing has changed.  They would have you think that we never fought a civil war where many men, of all colors, fought and died, in part, to end slavery.  They would have you forget the era of struggles for civil rights, in which, once again, people of all colors joined to bring about that needed change for equal rights for all.  Martin Luther King coined that most significant phrase to define the goal; that we might succeed in coming to the point when “a man would be judged by his character, and not by the color of his skin.” Yet, today that radical Critical Race Theory, born out of Marxism, is especially insulting to non-white skinned persons.  It asserts that white people are all, by being born white skinned, automatically oppressors, and people of color are all, again from birth, automatically oppressed or victims.  Do you realize the pure evil that this kind of group think is promoting and supporting?  In effect, it is saying that people of color are weak, inferior, and perpetually victims of oppression, unable to escape without the help of those “privileged” and thus superior white people (regardless of the economic status of that white person).

       Let us put on our “thinking caps” for just a moment or two.  According to science:
“Skin color is determined mainly by the amount and distribution of melanin, a pigmented polymer produced by melanocytes. Hyperpigmentation is almost always the result of either production of too much melanin or abnormal distribution of pigment, although heavy metals or drug metabolites can change skin color.” 
Did you see that? It’s the amount of melanin that determines pigmentation.  I don’t see the word race, guilt, privilege, oppressed, oppressor, victim, superior, or inferior anywhere written or inferred in the explanation for cause of someone’s skin color.  But if you want to fall for that kind of arrogant and ignorant kind of horse poopy, feel free to do so.

        I for one refuse to be compelled to think or talk in such a stupid manner.  Full disclosure, I am a white person.  So, for purposes of dispelling the idea that I can’t possibly know what I’m talking about, because I’m white, I’m adding, at the end of this paper, a list of very wise and intelligent people who have written and spoken on many subjects, including CRT.  Oh yes, they have enough melanin to be defined as “people of color”.  However, for all true believers in CRT, these wise people would probably be viewed as “black faces of white supremacy.”  Sorry if I sound irate!  On second thought, no, I’m not sorry.  I am sick and tired of all this anti American, anti God, and anti Human race rhetoric.  It is an insult to everything that is good and right and true. 

        In America, if a person works hard to learn and apply their knowledge, skills, and talents, you have the opportunity to move forward and advance in life.  Morgan Freeman said that he, and the black TV host he was speaking to, was proof that America is not systemically racist, proved by their own status in life.  Look at Dr. Carson, brought up in a single parent home in poverty, yet he rose up to become one of the most prominent and foremost surgeons in America.  That story of rising up is repeated time and again when people persevere to become all that they can be.  Not all have the same intellect, talent, and skills, but all have equal freedom to persevere to become all they can become with what they have been given. 


VOTE AS IF YOUR LAND HAS BEEN STOLEN

    I assume this is referring what happened to the tribal Indian nations.  I won’t try to defend the indefensible.  There were horrific atrocities committed on both sides.  However, as I understand from history, ownership of the land was not a concept held by their culture.  They often warred against one another, capturing and killing one another, as well as white people.  Right or wrong, the root or basic cause of warfare between Indians and white people was the difference and clash of two cultures and values that could not continue to co-exist.  Ultimately, only one of the cultures could rise to the top and be sustained.  Only one could win in the end.  Neither side was completely innocent or righteous in the way the outcome was attained.         

         Looking at things from this point of history, we became a culture/nation that we have become partially as a willingness to assimilate [Assimilation is a much contested notion whereby on entering a new country immigrant groups are encouraged, through social and cultural practices and/or political machinations, to adopt the culture, values, and social behaviors of the host nation in order to benefit from full citizenship status.]. Though we came together from all corners of the earth (including the Indians), once here, the main desire, that most took pride in, was to become an “American”, not an Italian American, French American, Spanish American, etc.”, but an American!

        The WOKE mentality is a Marxist/socialist attempt to divide, tear down, destroy the values and traditions that have attracted and drawn people to our country over the years.  Yes, there was, and is, much good and beautiful about Indians as people.  They can and should be proud of their Indian background.  However, as an American, I am proud and grateful that we became one nation. 
    If you prefer tribalism over what we now have, perhaps you would prefer living in some place like Afghanistan, where you belong to one of many tribes which are never unified, but are always warring against one another.  That’s exactly what the Marxist/Socialists want to do to us by dividing and pitting us against one another. “A house divided can not stand..”


VOTE AS IF YOU HAVE A TRANS CHILD OR A GAY SIBLING

    Full disclosure, I am a Christian.  In my extended family, we have and do experience the difficulties problems related to both of these types of relationships.  However, I would never turn my back on God by voting in a way that says to those who suffer and want out of such relationships and situations.  That would be saying that God can not and will not help them, if they want it.  WOKE activist had done all they can to assist and even convince some that, in order to be happy, they must act on their feelings and follow through to manifest the end results of being trans or gay.  Yet, at the same time, they have blocked  those, who desire help to resist and turn from such lifestyles, from getting the kind of counseling and help to return to what God’s plan for their lives to be.  In order to get that help, the ones who want it are forced to do it clandestinely. 
 

        The problem with all the “woke” attitudes is that they truly believe that you can’t possibly love the person without agreeing with, accepting, approving and even celebrating their lifestyle, to validate as equal to the traditionally accepted lifestyle.  Anyone who doesn’t agree with them can not possibly love the person who deviates from the norm.    That kind of compelled thinking demands that every Christian must deny Christ.  The “Woke” culture purpose is to rid the world of the biblical One True God who teaches us to love the person, but hate the sin, whether it is of a heterosexual or homosexual nature, makes no difference. We, as Christians, are taught not to “practice” to do that which is sin in God’s sight.  The practice of sin can only bring hurt and harm to those who refuse to repent, and seek God’s forgiveness, and His help to change us to set us free. 

         Of course, those who do want out of the lifestyles such as this, if they are of consenting adult age, are free to do so.  God grants the free will to everyone to choose to believe and trust in Him, or choose to go their own way without him.  Since God has granted that right, once the offer for help through Jesus has been offered, but refused, no man has the right to prevent an adult from making his own decision. 

       That said, we are commanded to love everyone as He has loved us first. 
 If, as Christians, we were to approve of the practice, or purposeful continual sinful behavior, as if it is equally valid and right regardless of what God has said about it, we would then be denying the truth of the word of God.  We would be, in effect, calling God a liar.   

        Unfortunately, this “Woke” generation can not see that, without God, the family, the basic unit and foundation of our culture, is in danger of being completely destroyed, as we walk farther and farther away from God.  Wanting to rid the world of God, so that man can become his own god, is a good thing in their view.    There are none so blind as those who will not see. In their delusional way of thinking, they will say they whole hearted agree that we should love one another.  At the same time, they want to forget and eliminate the first part: to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and strength.  Without the first (loving God) the second (to love one another) is greatly restricted and undermined.

      Whether you believe it or not, whether mankind deems sin to be considered as legal, sin is still sin in God’s sight.  Mankind can not change God or His standards.  Whether a person believes in God or not, sin always has consequences. When a Believer sins, he can be forgiven, but that does not remove the consequences that result of having committed the sin. Pastor Tony Evans wrapped it up so concisely, as he always does. “No amount of ignoring the truth is going to set people free from the bondage of lies. We are called to speak the truth in love.  We are not called to support a lie in love.”

VOTE AS IF YOU ARE A WOMAN

      What a laugh that is.  Why, according to there way of thinking the concept of “woman” can no longer even be defined.  Now, since a man “feels” like he’s a woman (and visa versa), regardless of DNA differences between male and female, he is allowed to compete against females (that is, those persons who are determined to be female by facts of science (not by feelings).  Thus, females no longer have the chance to win in an environment of fair competition.  I understand, their main issue in saying “vote as if you are a woman”.  In reality, the Woke agenda is the virtually to erase the use of race and gender as identity factors for nearly everything.  In this incident, they really want you to focus on the issue of abortion, as if being allowed to kill a baby in the womb on demand was the greatest concern of every woman.  Again, they want to compel every person, male or female, to agree with and think like they do.  This is not surprising in this “me, myself, and I” generation.  “My body, my choice” is a deception, if not an outright lie.  When pregnant, there are two bodies that should be considered, not just one.  But of course, to many of them, a baby is seen as something akin to a parasite, to rid yourself of, at any point, whether that be at one month, 9 months, or even beyond.  Yes, some babies have actually lived through the attempted abortion, and some of those were set aside to die, as if it was so much garbage to be thrown out with the rest of the trash.  I could go on and on as to the harm and destruction this “woke” generation is continuing to do against humanity.  They continue their efforts to corrupt the meaning and value of being a human, much less a woman. 

        Let’s do vote as women who have godly wisdom, not as a bunch of silly women, who have nothing between their ears but space.  The following is no joke.  It actually happened: A college female professor was asked if she could define the term “woman.”  She responded that, because she was not a biologist, she could not define the term woman.  Due to their own narrative now, one must seriously ask, does woman even exist?  Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. 
   
VOTE AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED UPON IT

      I agree with that whole heartedly.  For if this Woke propaganda is allowed to continue and take root, your life, as you now know it to be, may soon no longer exist.  Who knows, maybe you’re not a he or she, maybe you’re not even human, and maybe you are so “fluid” you’ve just morphed into being an IT! After all, if we are only ITS then there is no need for a commitment to God, family, others, or country.  Does it seem that this is attempting to ready us to accept and receive the mark of the beast upon the forehead or the hand?  Think about it!

        Before it’s too late, learn HOW TO THINK, or you’ll fall for anything they tell you about “WHAT TO THINK”, letting them program you like a robot, and no longer like a free thinking human being.

This is no joke; it is real!  It was announced on the news today.  They now want to stop anthropologists from using race and gender to identify the remains of the dead.  Why? 
Because we don’t know how that human identified himself/herself, when they were alive. 
Again, this is no joke.  You simply can not make these things up!

“COMPELLED SPEECH”

 

       I don’t know who coined that phrase, but, especially for Christians,  it’s imperative in today’s “woke” culture, we had better wake up, and recognize the difference between free speech, suppressed speech, and compelled speech.   I heard somewhere that he who controls the defining of words holds the power to control what is acceptable and lawful in thought, word, and deed.  At one time in America, not everyone was a Christian, but because the teaching of the Bible was so widespread and revered,  it had a deep influence upon every part of our culture from the level of the individual, to the family, to the highest reaches of our government.  

      While we still have time, Christians need to stand strong against the present decadence and perversion of the deception of being “woke.” If we allow the ideology of the woke culture to prevail as though it were true, the results will be a lawless and godless society in which God is removed by our choice, and man’s opinions will replace God’s truth in our lives.  

         Compelled speech is a radical narrative that is created in order to force all others to agree with it, and it is completely anti God.  In fact,  not only does it require every individual to exchange the truth for a lie, it also requires each person that is controlled by it to deny the truth of the word of God, and even worse, to declare God to be a liar.  How is that you ask?  The following is just a short list of examples of the godlessness of the “woke” path of “compelled” speech vs God’s truth:

1.                              Marriage is the Union of any persons (same sex, and any number of persons joined together) vs Marriage is between a man and a woman, and the two shall become one.

2.                             The gender of a person is defined by what he “feels” vs. God made mankind as male and female (the FACTS of biological science; no matter what you do to the package, the DNA stays the same).          

3.                             Compelled speech vs freedom of speech is meant to quell one’s ability to think for ourselves, out of fear of not being acceptable in the eyes of the world.

4.                             Compelled speech is meant to remove a person’s ability to make his own choices.  It must be believed without descent and includes other radical narratives such as: all white people are oppressors, and people of color are all victims; we must support open boarders for our immigration laws are not “compassionate” enough so we must not comply with laws that are meant to protect our border;  laws to protect and provide safety and security for the citizens of our nation are considered selfish and evil; laws against stealing were created by white angry men and must be ignored, after all smash and grab looting is merely a form of reprimands to the victimized people of color; all of the conventional wisdom held by previous generations must be torn down and replaced; and on and on.  

        Either God and His word is truth, or God is a liar.  Compelled speech intentionally and purposely attempts to confuse, manipulate, and corrupt the word of God.  This WOKE ideology uses fear of being called racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. to control or force people to comply and agree with them.  How sad, for we, as Christians, have forgotten that we “have not been given a spirit of fear, but of faith, love and a sound mind.”  Far better it is to be seen as a bigot in the eyes of the world than to be seen as a bigot in the eyes of God.  Jesus said, I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No man comes to the Father except through Me.”  If Christians don’t get the courage to stand up against this Woke “compelled speech”, we shall be complicate in contributing to its success in destroying ourselves as a people and as a country.  Within the Body of Christ, both those who sit in the pews, as well as those who stand in the pulpit, shall be ineffective as the salt and light to stand against the powers of evil, if we do not take a stand to love Jesus enough to obey Him, not out of have to, but out of love to, because He only wants the best for those who trust and believe in Him.  Jesus has told us, “ He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.”

(Luke 11:23)

      The tactic of using compelled speech to force people to agree with the lies of the devil, is always meant to exalt tolerance, which is the last remaining virtue of every decaying and godless society.  This form of tolerance declares that one must not only put up with the differences between one another, but also accept and deem that difference to be just as right and equally valued and right.  That is not tolerance at all, but is the acceptance of evil as good and good as evil.

      Our culture has become so secularized that it is true to say, sadly, that we have now become a post Christian nation, where both God and His followers are becoming more and more marginalized with every passing day. Of course, this is not a surprise to anyone who reads the Bible.  God has forewarned us: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

(Matthew 7:13-1

 

WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT YOU LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD

 

        I ask this question only of that person that claims to believe in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.  When asked, many will say: Yes, I believe that Jesus was born of a virgin.  Yes, I believe He died on the cross to pay for my sins. Yes, I believe He arose from the dead that I may have salvation through faith in Him.

      What does Jesus say is the proof that you truly love Him with all your mind, heart, and soul?  He’s rather straightforward and clear with His answer.  He tells us:  

“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him,  and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and  the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

(John 14:23-24)

      Search your heart.  Can you honestly say that, in your daily life, do you truly seek to know Him and to do that which is pleasing in His sight?  Or do you choose, to ignore what He says, and then live your life that is pleasing in your own sight, and ignore His standards of what is good or evil.  Do you really think you are saved that you may live like Hell?  

No wonder The Lord has told us:

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

(Matthew 15:8-9)

    There is a difference in our weakness to sin, and our willingness to think that we can knowingly and purposefully “practice” that which God has plainly told us is sinful. 

      May each of us sincerely ask of the Lord: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

(Psalm 139:23-24)

 

If I choose to live a life of knowingly and purposely “practicing” the sin of lying (or any other sin(s) according to God’s standards), can I truly claim to love the Lord? 

Or am I merely a Cultural Christian, that is a Christian in name only.  

The following verse tells us what Jesus says about those who truly love Him. 

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.

(John 14:15)

None of us are perfect, but if we really love Jesus, we should never think that God’s mercy and grace comes so cheaply that we can claim Him as Savior and Lord, while we purposely allow ourselves to ignore our responsibility to be accountable unto Him.  Woe unto us, if we think we love Jesus, but live our lives in complete opposition to Him and His word.  Perhaps it would be helpful for us to ask the Lord: 

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my thought; And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” 

(Psalm 139: 23-24)

 

Let us fail not to sorrow unto repentance, confess our sin, ask for forgiveness, and ever strive, with God’s help, to do that which is pleasing unto the Lord.  In Jesus name. Amen

THE GOD FACTOR

          America has just come through a very difficult period of electing our next president.  The Progressive groups in our country were overly confident that their candidate had it all wrapped up and settled.  All along, they laughed at, ridiculed, and tried to intimidate and manipulate not only the Republican Candidate, but also all who might have the audacity to disagree with their point of view, and choose to vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.  Due to the volatile political atmosphere, many would not voice their decision, but chose to remain silent.  Others gave the impression that they were in agreement with the Democrat nominee, not wanting to be the brunt of a barrage of insults, accusations, and even violence in some cases.  Some of the Progressives tried to assert that they were the “mature” thinkers, and those who disagreed were immature, low information voters, whose consciousness had not yet been raised to their higher level of intellectualism and ability to reason.  After all, being elitists, they thought themselves to have the greater wisdom; therefore, they alone should be in charge to direct the masses as to what and how to think, and what to do.

          To be honest, I believe that there was enough blame from both sides for the unusually ugly political atmosphere, and the poison seemed to spill over to affect many personal relationships, even among family members.  In full disclosure, I must admit that I write from the perspective of being a Christian first, and a conservative republican, secondly.  So my views are not unbiased.  I openly confess also that I strive to comply with a biblical world view; therefore, if the reader is one who is of the secular world view, there may be very little common ground for us to communicate with one another.  In most cases, that is the bases for the great divide that seems to be getting greater and greater within our society, not just in America, but in the world at large.  I don’t mean to infer that all Christians are of one mind.  Sad to say, even within the church there is a divide, for in many cases even the church is being more affected by the world,  becoming that lukewarm church of the latter days which has an appearance of godliness, but lacking in the power of God.   

          In general, those of the secular humanistic, or man centered world view, believed that evangelicals were an ineffective force which no longer needed to be reckoned with.  The democrat political machine did all of their polling just as they had done in the past, thinking that the decision of this election was going to be just as it had in the past, having the same old idea of “politics as usual”.  Once again, being so “wise in their own eyes”, they either forgot, or never even considered the existence of the power of the God factor to lead the direction of our country. 

          I don’t intend to give the idea that the Democrat Party is evil, or that the Republican Party is righteous.  Far from it!  Our governing body is made up of faulty humans and, until Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom, we are stuck with the present system with all of its imperfections.  In reality, it would be more valid to do away with the practice of looking at our problems as being based upon right or left issues.  Instead, we need to realize the basic problem is far more vertical, with God at the top being constantly opposed by the spirit of anti Christ at the bottom, with all of us spread out in the middle either striving to draw closer to God or trying to ignore and forget God, choosing to do our own thing, beginning in the Garden of Eden when Satan put forth the idea to man that he could be his own god. 

          Living in a post Christian era in America, as we now do, the fact is that we are involved in spiritual warfare, and not political party warfare.  The truth of God’s word reminds us that we fight not against flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities of the darkness of this world.  Oh how evident it is that we are at war within ourselves, as we try to learn to discern between good and evil.  Our struggle is made all the more difficult as we become more intent on forgetting God as individuals and as a nation. 

          Like bratty children, we want all the benefits of being a part of a family, but we don’t want the responsibility of being obedient and accountable to those in authority, our parents.  God is always asking us: How long are you going to remain double minded?  God is so loving and patient with us.  Yet, we seem to think we can continually disobey Him, ignore His warnings, refuse to repent and turn from our wicked ways, but still receive all of His blessings.  Time and again we seem to think we can ignore Him without having to suffer the consequences of our own choices.  God knows the point when we have become so rebellious, stiff necked and hard hearted that we will never turn our hearts back to Him.  He is a loving God, but He is also a just God, and because of that there will be a point in time when the grace of God will give way to the judgment of God, and we have no one to blame but ourselves.  David Wilkerson, in his book “The Vision”, expressed it rather well as he used a combination of scripture and the blunt statement that follows: “‘If the Lord be God, follow Him; but if Baal be god, follow him’____ and go to Hell!”

          Early in the first primary debates, we saw a number of prominent evangelical preachers, of all denominations, come out openly in support of Donald Trump, one of the seventeen who was running to become the Republican nominee.  As the primary campaign continued, I could only wonder, what did these evangelical leaders see in this man, Donald Trump that I did not?  If one was only listening to the news, one would not be able to discern the force that was developing behind the scenes.  This candidate, as depicted by most news persons, was characterized as a clown, immoral, unequipped and unfit to be president.  The progressive biased media overwhelmingly tried to focus entirely upon the personal flaws of Trump, as if the front runner for the Democrat Party, Hillary Clinton, was far more moral, equipped, and fit to be president.

          In truth, both candidates were greatly flawed.  This only proves the fact that God can use whoever He chooses to fulfill His purposes.  Remember, He once chose to use a donkey.  From the outset, Trump was not known for his political correctness or for a honed talent of smooth public speaking.  In fact, I would often characterize him as being unpolished and, at times, more like a bull in a china shop.   He often speaks his mind without considering the wisdom of his words, and often exercises little or no discipline over his own tongue.  Neither could one say that he had lived a morally and exemplary life.  So what in the world did the many evangelicals perceive to be possibilities of potential within him?  Through listening and research, I believe it all may have come down to this basic principle: “Who would be less likely to be influenced by the established world system of political correctness, the system of “politics as usual”, and have a greater potential to at least listen to, and be influenced by godly principles and counsel?   Many pastors that took the risk to back him, and believe me it was and is a risk to support this many flawed human being.  Yet, they have steadfastly continued in their open effort to support and stand by him as advisors.    

          Before taking their stand, did they ever try to reach out to gain an audience with the opposing candidate, Hillary Clinton, to test the waters and see if she too might also “have an ear to hear and be swayed towards godly principles?”  Many of them had attempted to do so several times, not just this year, but also in previous years before, but with little or no success.  They were, for the most part, not even been granted a chance to come before her.  By her own choice, she had closed that door to them.  On top of that, Hillary Clinton sealed her own fate by her own spoken words when she said that religious people will have to change their religious beliefs, and that abortion on demand (in the third trimester and even partial birth abortion) should be protected as a woman’s right over her reproductive health (a choice that could be based on simple inconvenience and not restricted to the a proven threat to the life of the mother.) (Google both of these to hear it for yourself in her own words.) 

          Based upon those grounds alone, one can understand why Evangelicals would take the risk to stand by Trump, in hopes that they may be used as instruments of God, to advise and be a source of godly counsel unto him.  It was their insight and courage that rallied many Christians to come alongside them to pray that God may work in and through this man, as flawed as he is, to work out God’s purposes to stand against the wiles of the antichrist system that is ever present in this increasingly secularized world system.  “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Eph. 6: 12)

          Several months ago, I received a message that was spreading across the country which encouraged all Christians to set the clock for a specific time to pray in unity for the safety and security of our nation, and that God’s will be done in the upcoming elections.  Does that mean that I thought of Trump as a strong man, able to leap over mountains, and change the world?  Far be it!  I am reminded of this scripture: “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” (I Cor. 1: 27)  The scriptures also tell us that all leaders are raised and granted power by God.  “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.  For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” (Roman 13: 1)  After all was said and done, after the polls were all proven to be wrong, after the boasting that the one with the world system and big political machine behind her could not be defeated, this “clown and outsider,” as he was often called, had won and became the President Elect.

          The Progressives could not believe the outcome.  They thought they had surely won, for they had put their trust in the works of their own hands and their “undefeatable political machine.”  They had discounted all together the will of the people.  Even more importantly, they had discounted the power of prayer and the will of God, for it is God who is in control, no matter what conditions or circumstances exist in the world.

          It’s now two weeks after the elections, and the leadership of the Democrats still doesn’t get it.  They are still insisting that Trump won because he ran the most xenophobic campaign ever. They still refuse to understand that the main reason for the win was actually at least three fold.  For many Christians, and others, their vote was a vote FOR the party platform which believed reflected the more biblical/traditional American policies: sanctity of life, traditional marriage views, freedom of religion, and a belief in our constitution as it is written, not modifying and changing it at the drop of a hat.  Secondly, it was a vote FOR the hope of a more economically rewarding agenda for the middle class, a simplification of the tax laws, and the possibility of turning the tide against a progressively socialistic nation through the nomination of more conservative Supreme Court judges, and lower level judges throughout the country.  Thirdly, it was often a back lash AGAINST the divisive and mind control (witchcraft) tactics of the politically correct stance, which was greatly influenced, at least in part, by the Lucifer loving prognostications of Saul Alenski.  His main "fighting tactic" is: "when you can't win on the issues," resort to marginalizing your opponent through assaulting them verbally with insults; control the agenda by redefining words to create a "transforming rhetoric"; and use this “transforming rhetoric” to set up politically correct standards which all must comply with and adhere to in order to be acceptable in the eyes of the secularized society which has created it to suit their own desires. 

          Being an “outsider,” not under the control of the politically correct elitists who are found within both political parties, Trump turned the tables and used their own weapons against them.  He used their tactics of ridicule and insults to marginalize them personally and push back against their politically correct indoctrination.  Somehow, Trump had picked up on the fact that the majority of the non coastal population (the fly over states, or zones, as they are sometimes called), and many conservative and independent voters within the coastal areas, had grown sick and tired of the religion of identity politics that were being shoved down their throats. However, more often than not, being taught to have “good manners” and not be rude, when confronted with such intentionally godless rhetoric they would just “be nice”, rather than get embroiled with their bullying tactics.  Only a comparatively few, such as Ann Coulter and Doreen Barelli, were willing to stand up, take the heat, and speak up to confront the faces and loud dominant voices of the PC activists and their many followers found within in the general population who consistently  claimed to speak for ALL of America..  They, the progressives, never even realized that they had not yet deceived all of the people through their godless “transforming rhetoric.”

          For many decades now, bullish politically correct rhetoric and identity politics have been used to silence the voices of all who would dissent from the PC desires, values, and agendas, which are meant to be instrumental in turning America into an increasingly godless society.  Finally, unafraid of them, Trump pushed back and the people found one solitary man who was willing to take the heat for them.  He became their messenger, providing a voice that was no longer afraid of taking a stand against the politically correct agenda of identity politics.  Since he came on the scene, the progressive globalists have tried their usual Alinski tactics against him.  They are continually frustrated by the fact that he will not back down in fear of them, but has continued to beat them at their own game by throwing it right back in their own face. 

          As you have probably surmised by now, I have been working on this story line for over a year.   Amazingly, many Democrats still can’t believe that they lost the election fair and square.  Neither do they understand the fact that Trump is not afraid of them, their agenda, or their PC agenda of identity politics.  Nor will he let them shove him back into the box of “be nice and silent like the other good politically incorrect little boys and girls.”  When they say he’s behaving unfit and not presidential, they are really showing their frustration because he refuses to conform and bow down in submission at the altar of political correctness and their group-think agenda.  I don’t know for sure if God is sitting back and laughing at their globalist “Tower of Babel” antics, but admittedly, I find it gloriously delicious.  Okay Lord, I’m sorry for reacting “in the flesh”, for I know gloating is not acceptable in your sight.  Thank you Lord for not giving up on us!  We are now and always will be in need of striving to know what it really means to “have the mind of Christ”, that we would trust in you Lord and not “lean unto our own understanding.” 

           Perhaps you are still wondering what in the world does The God Factor have to do with all of this.  Truthfully, Trump being Trump, does not make him greater than any other flawed and imperfect mortal. But perhaps this imperfect man was chosen to be used of God for such a time as this.  From all outward appearances in the eyes of the world, it did seem that Hillary Clinton was destined to become our next president, wasn’t she?  After all, consider all that she had going for her: didn’t she fit the mold as a politically correct elitist; didn’t she have the full force and financial backing of the Clinton/DNC political machine against which it was assumed nothing could prevail; didn’t she represent the “enlightened views and values” of the secular humanist One Worlders who look forward to a utopia that is free of all restrictions of that pesky old God of the Bible, where any ole god or no god at all is far more preferable; and of course, didn’t she also believe that the constitution did not really mean what it said, but was a living and ever evolving document which was subject to change, in order to fit the changing times whenever the governing body (not the people) saw fit to do so.  Oh yes, she had the winning ticket, and shouldn’t she finally attain the status of President which she most certainly deserved? Or so they thought, right?   

          Unfortunately for her, all her plans, and the plans of those who sought to exalt her and their PC world, there was something and someone that was being ignored and overlooked.  As usual, in their self created PC bubble of the world, they did not consider either the God Factor, or that His people would awake from their long slumber to actually act in compliance with His word to truly apply the power of intercessory prayer to seek the Lord for His forgiveness and help for our nation.  Pastors, other leaders, and believers were called to unite to do what we were supposed to be doing all along.  “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land,” (II Chron. 7: 14 NIV) 

          Only God, not Trump or any other mortal, can save us or our country.  However, God can use anything and anyone He chooses to accomplish His plans and fulfill His will.  When reading the Bible, it is often stated that either the King of Israel did that which was good in the sight of God, or chose not to do that which was good in the sight of good.  That choice was reflected in that, if the King did that which was good in the sight of God, the country itself was granted a time of relative peace.   

          There are many believers today, who are continuing to be diligent to pray and seek the Lord’s face daily for the safety and security of our nation, and for a revival of turning back to God.  As the body of Christ on earth, it is up to us to become transformed more into the image of God, that we might be the salt to preserve and reflect the light of the Lord to be the ones to draw others to believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, one day at a time, one heart at a time.  It is believed that if we had continued to follow the same direction of forgetting God, and being disobedient as signified by our willful noncompliance with His word, we were on the very brink of no return, and sure to call down His judgment upon us and our nation.  Revival depends upon us, those who claim to be born again Christians, to be doers of His word, and not just hearers. If we are silent, or fail to live out His word in our lives, we will have failed in our mission to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the world around us.  All too often, we are acting more like the world. 

          There is a pretty good question that requires self examination and a truthful answer from each of us: “If you went before a judge and jury, would there be enough evidence to convict you of being a Christian, that is, a believer in the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior?”  Unfortunately, the church, which is supposed to be transformed into the image of God by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, has more often become conformed to the ways of the world, not living out the word in our lives, but living more like nonbelievers, doing what pleases our selves, guided not by God, but by our own selfish desires.  Be not deceived, the devil still roams too and fro, seeking whom he may destroy.  Satan is still the god of this fallen world.  He and his followers are intent on rampantly changing America, and the world, into a godless and lawless humanistic secularized culture.  Therefore Christians, this is not the time to stop praying because we won the election, but rather to be even more diligent prayer warriors that America would have a revival, turn our hearts back to The Lord, and become the light and salt of the earth!  Repentance for our wickedness and turning back to God is the only hope that America will be great again.  Put on the full armor of God, be a spiritual warrior in the army of the Lord, and fight against the wiles of the powers and principalities of the darkness of this world. Continue to stand, without compromise, in the name of The Lord Jesus Christ. Remember, “Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.”

          We live in a fallen world where Satan still roams to and fro seeking whom he may devour.  But we, as Christians, must remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.  It’s imperative that we, who profess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, love, obey, and serve the Lord with all our heart, soul, and strength.  We are to put on the full armor of God, humble ourselves before the Lord, and turn from our wicked ways.  He’s talking to us, His people, not the people of the world who don’t claim to know or care about Him or His ways.  When we start thinking that we have the right to disagree with or ignore what He has told us, we have begun a descent down that dangerous path of turning away from Him.  There is no neutrality with God; either we are for Him or we are against Him.  We can’t pickers and choosers, deciding for ourselves what part(s) of His word we will or will not obey.  Unfortunately, it is the church itself that has been rushing away from Him, seeking to satisfy our own desires, and thinking ourselves as wiser than He.  We are repeating the same sinfulness as the people of Israel, who knew God but turned their hearts to every false god that exists, that all gods are equal.  We are forgetting our promise to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and to worship no other.  Even as they moved away from Him and no longer feared the Lord, they still expected Him to protect them.  Even in the natural, that is an unreasonable expectation.  Would it be reasonable even in an earthly relationship of marriage to expect one partner in the marriage to be unfaithful and yet still expect his covenant partner to stay faithful in all ways?  If not, then why do we think we can be unfaithful to God, but still expect Him to be faithful to us and keep His protective hand upon us?

          Do I claim that this man, Donald Trump, is equipped thoroughly and readily as our president?  No, he is a flawed man, elected to preside over a flawed people in a fallen world. I do believe that God has often chosen the seemingly weakest and most unqualified persons, and then equips and qualifies them to enable them to serve Him.  He is the one who gives us His strength that we may understand not to depend upon ourselves, but rather upon Him as He works in and through us by the power of His Holy Spirit.  Remember, He once used a jackass to speak for Him.  If He wanted to, He could cause the rocks to cry out for Him.

          Let us never put our trust in any man, but trust only in the Lord.  Let us pray that the Lord will grant godly counsel and wisdom to Pres. Trump that he may yield to the voice of the Lord and obey Him.  I regret that this story line may seem give the inference it is about struggle between two political parties when that is far from the truth.  The truth is that, though I may have not completely successful, it was my desire to open our eyes that we are involved in a spiritual warfare that is increasingly blinding  and robbing us of the truth of the Lord, and is increasingly closing the door of the blessings of the Lord upon our country.  I believe it is all a part of the Great Deception which is leading so many away from the truth of the Lord.  If we have our eyes opened to the truth of the Lord, we will look around and perceive how evil is increasingly being redefined as good, and good is being redefined as evil.  The awful pity is that the church itself is receiving the lies of the devil and there is a great falling away from the truth as the Bible has prophesied.  As a body, we are being robbed of the truth, preferring the “feel good message” instead of sound doctrine for we have become a people who have the name of the Lord on our lips, “but our heart is far from Him.”        

          I do believe that Pres. Trump may offer an opened window and a possible reprieve for a period of time that we might have the opportunity to repent and push back against the onslaught of unbelief, the greatest wickedness of all.  As for identity politics, political correctness, globalism, and a one world order, I believe it is all a part of Satan’s tools, even a part of that religion of the latter days that will deceive many by its “appearance of godliness, but lacking in the power thereof.” [The power of God]   I truly feel sorry for those who will choose even with their dying breath to reject the one true God of the Bible. Those who do so will have believed the greatest lie of all which is that you are your own god, greater and wiser than God Himself is the great I AM. 

  

  

REMEMBER:                                                        

          The Holy Spirit promises us that “righteousness leads to freedom, but sin will always lead to bondage.”  We must forever check our ideas, opinions, and beliefs to make sure that they are in line with God’s truth, and resist trying to make the word of God agree with our opinions and ideas. We can’t blame the worldly people for the downfall of America or the church..  As Christians, we are supposed to be God’s people, and yet we often act more like the world than some unbelievers do.  We are supposed to live out our lives in obedience to the one true living God of the Bible.  Yet we find excuses for ignoring God’s standards of right and wrong simply because we don’t want to appear “different” in the eyes of man, or we don’t want to give up our sinful ways, thinking that we can ignore the guilt and the consequences of knowingly and willfully practicing sin.  We are often more comfortable in being a bigot in the eyes of God, than we are in being a bigot in the eyes of man.  We don’t strive to be rooted and grounded in the word of God; therefore, why are we surprised when we fall for every lie of Satan and man that comes straight from the pit of Hell? 

          Taking up the cross of Jesus is costly; it can mean that you may even have to sacrifice the love of family members for His name’s sake.  However, can giving up anything on this earth be worth losing the gift of salvation offered by Jesus, who paid the ultimate sacrifice when He gave His very life for us?   

          Let us not fall into the pit of replacing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the gospel of Social Justice (believing in our own works as the way to earn our own salvation).  Good works are a result of faith in Jesus, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit which are meant to glorify God, not ourselves.  Someone wisely said; Christianity is not do’s and don’ts, but DONE , just as Jesus proclaimed from the Cross IT IS FINISHED, meaning He had paid our sin debt and marked the receipt PAID IN FULL, for those who trust and believe in Him as Lord and Savior.   Focus and remain secure in the belief of salvation through the work done by Jesus on the cross as He willingly gave up His life to save us, and the promise of our resurrection one day, as He was resurrected and now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.  We must remind ourselves, there is nothing in this world more valuable than the Lord God.  He gave His life for us that we may have eternal life through faith in Him.  There is no greater love than that.  Out of love for Him we should not count it too great a cost to fear (respect) the Lord and serve and obey Him in thought, word and deed that things may go well for us as His word has promised.  Yes, let us never forget THE GOD FACTOR, for He reigns forever and is the GREAT I AM!
